So, this is my first blog post. I’m not much of a writer, so bear with me and maybe these posts will improve as I go along… or not ;-)

Maybe others, that are just getting started or getting back into art like me, might like to see my latest studio purchase – actually, a birthday gift from my husband, that I picked out and put in the shopping cart for him – I find it works much easier that way :-)

Anyway, It’s a huge improvement from what I started with! And I think, rather than a lot of wordy descriptions here, pics will do the best job at seeing my before and after. So here you go:

Studio-before

Before: old chair trying unsuccessfully to hold everything next to my easel.

After - artcart

After: Art Cart on wheels – What could be better – holders for brushes, place for water, basket for paints and a place for my new wet palette on top!

In case anyone is interested in checking out the art cart for themselves here is a link to the Amazon page: ZTDM Aluminum Alloy Carts for Placing Painting Art Tools Instrument Silver Gray

I also purchased (aka B-day present) the Masterson Sta-Wet Premier Palette. Acrylics are new to me so I was not prepared for how quickly they dry out. Having a stay wet palette is fabulous for not wasting paint (which I was doing!).
